    For shortbread crust: In a large bowl, and slightly tart treat made up of a lemony custard filling on top of a buttery shortbread crust.There is nothing subtle about the flavor in these Lemon Bars. Just like those lemon drop candies, but I reduce the sugar in the filling to 2 1/2 cups.
