H.E. Muhannad Sulaiman Alnaqbi, Consul General of the UAE in Shanghai, hosted the Iftar at Xijiao State Guest Hotel in Shanghai on April 2, 2024, inviting the prominent guests to gather together to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, and extended his best wishes to them.

The Iftar represents the values of tolerance advocated by the UAE, which is an incubator of the values of tolerance, peace, safety and multiculturalism, as the UAE is home to more than 200 nationalities who enjoy a decent life and respect, including more than 300,000 Chinese living in the UAE and more than 6,000 Chinese companies registered in the UAE.

Tolerance and coexistence are of paramount importance in promoting harmonious relations, mutual understanding and respect among the different communities, and are part of the UAE's commitment to peace, cultural exchange and social tolerance.
